Last Friday, I had a free afternoon to visit Bellocq Tea Atelier in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Don't let the inconspicuous exterior fool you⎼ the interior of this tea shop is just breathtaking. Every inch of this space was perfectly curated, and I couldn't help but snap a few photos of their adjacent salon. I highly recommend Bellocq for its inspiring space and extensive tea selection⎼ they've definitely created an elevated experience for tea lovers to drink and shop for high quality tea.

I still had some time to kill, so I stopped by Ovenly, a bakery that's right around the corner from Bellocq. I opted for an iced coffee and their famous salted chocolate chip cookie, which was one of the best cookies I've had in my life (and believe me, I've had a lot...).
Not only was Ovenly's space beautiful and bright, but the most delicious smell of freshly baked goods permeated the whole shop and wafted outdoors. I noticed that the smell attracted several people to stop in and grab a treat for themselves! I couldn't have asked for a better spot for some leisure reading on a sunny afternoon.
